Nathan T. Kauffman, CFP®, RICP®
Director and Financial Advisor
Nathan Kauffman is a Director and Financial Advisor with Baird. He is a CFP® practitioner, Investment Advisor Representative, Registered Representative, and Licensed Agent for Life, Accident and Health Insurance. Nathan also holds the RICP® designation, reflecting specialized training in retirement income planning.
Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grove City College and brings more than 25 years of financial planning experience to his clients. He began his career with the Hefren-Tillotson Financial Planning Group in 2001 and continues to serve clients with Baird following the Hefren-Tillotson/Baird merger in 2022.
He works closely with individuals and families to help them identify and achieve their financial goals through a comprehensive, personalized planning process. Nathan provides tailored investment recommendations, retirement analyses, insurance strategies, estate planning guidance, and tax planning strategies. His extensive planning background also includes developing sophisticated strategies for clients, including those with complex special needs trust considerations.
A resident of Eighty Four, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristy, and their four children, Alaina, Charlotte, Colby, and Quinn. The family also includes two Chocolate English Labradors, Tallie and Mully.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
The mark of RICP® is the property of The American College of Financial Services and may be used by individuals who have successfully completed the initial and ongoing certification requirements for this designation. The College can disallow use of the RICP® if advisors do not adhere to the program’s ethical standards, continuing education, and other requirements.

Client Assistant
Madison recently joined the team as a client assistant. Madison has over two years of experience in the financial services industry and is currently working towards becoming fully licensed. Madison graduated from Robert Morris University in 2022, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, majoring in finance with a minor in accounting. She applies her knowledge and experience with the goal of consistently providing exceptional service to our clients. Madison enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and spending time outdoors.
